Gymnastics Team Secures Trip To State Finals

Huron Valley United Gymnastics had an amazing day at their Regional Competition on Saturday. We placed 2nd and will advance to the state finals next weekend. Individually we have 4 gymnasts moving on. Lakeland sophomore, Nicole Graham will compete in the all around. She placed 7th on bars and floor, 3rd on vault, 1st on beam and 2nd in the all around. IA freshman, Maeve Spicer placed 7th on beam, 6th on floor, 5th on bars and 4th all around. Lakeland senior Erin Murphy and Milford sophomore Laura Nowicki will both compete in the floor. Laura placed 6th and Erin 2nd.
