The Mavs took a 3-0 lead early in the second period before ending up losing 5-3 to the determined Fenton-Linden Griffins Tuesday night in the first round of Regionals at Oak Park.

Things were going well for Milford (14-12) until Senior Captain and leading scorer Jack Clickett went down with a lower body injury in the second.  The short benched Mavs tried valiantly to hold on to the lead, but the Griffins (12-14) weren't going to be denied this night.

Senior Ryan Okragly and Sophomore Will Fulton each had a goal and an assist, Sophomore Alex Kozar scored and Seniors Thomas Kennedy IV, Captain Shane Quinn and James Zielke had helpers, as did Freshmen Craig Borges.

Junior Mav tendy Cooper Langley finished with 32 saves, while his Fenton-Linden counterpart Porter Lobocki had 40.
