The Mav's four game winning streak came to a screeching halt as the Ann Arbor River Rats beat Milford 2-1 in OT Friday night at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube.
Senior Captain Jack Clickett scored a short handed beauty while sliding on his knees after being hauled down by a Rat's defender with just under two minutes remaining in the second period to tie it up 1-1 going into the third.
Mav tendy Cooper Langley was busy with 34 saves on the night and gave his teammates a chance for the win over the hard working Ann Arbor club who ended the game halfway through the eight minute OT session for their seventh win of the season.
Milford returns to Ann Arbor's Cube for a Saturday 2PM matinee tilt against highly ranked Father Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard/Greenhills.
