The Milford Boys soccer team faced a daunting week facing league leader Lakeland High School and 2017 State Runner Up Walled Lake Central. Behind the best soccer cheering section in the State, Milford secured a 2-2 tie with Lakeland on Tuesday and a thrilling 2-1 win over Walled Lake Central on Thursday. With three more league games to play, the boys sit atop LVC standings with Lakeland holding a 3-0-2 record.
Against Lakeland goals were scored by Will Quane and Steven Gillingham. Spencer Beckman contributed 2 assists on the evening.
Against Walled Lake Central the Mavs scored with just 30 seconds left in the game to take the game 2-1. The game winner was scored by Freshmen Dylan Meek. Stephen Gillingham had the other goal on the night. Chris Henry made 13 saves in goal on the night.
