The Milford Varsity Dance Team completed an unforgettable sixth competitive season, proudly
representing our school at the local and national level.

This season, our team was made up of 16 athletes, led by coaches Brittany Curran and
Mackenzie Belanger, whose leadership and commitment elevated our program to new heights.
Our season officially begins in June, where we dedicate the summer months to building strength
and team unity. Athletes condition all summer long, attend Universal Dance Association camp,
learn choreography, team bond and fundraise to support the upcoming season. As the school year
begins, we proudly represent Milford at school pep assemblies and walk in the homecoming
parade.

From November through January, we compete in both jazz and hip-hop at four highly
competitive regional events:

• UDA Great Lakes Dance Challenge
• Dance Team Union
• Michigan State Spirit Showdown
• UDA Southern Michigan Dance Challenge
 

The pinnacle of our season came at the National Dance Team Championship in Orlando, where
our jazz routine ranked 7th in the Nation - an incredible accomplishment that reflects the hard
work and competitive excellence of our dancers and coaching staff.

As we close our sixth competitive season, we are immensely proud of how our 16 athletes
represented Milford - with integrity, sportsmanship and passion. The growth shown both on and
off the floor continues to define the standard of our program.
