Huron Valley United Gymnastics Earns Big Win Over Birmingham United

Huron Valley United Gymnastics picked up an impressive team victory on Tuesday, Feb. 4, defeating Birmingham United by a score of 131.525–127.275.
The team delivered a strong, balanced performance across all four events to secure the win. One of the highlights of the night came on floor exercise, where Lakeland freshman Reagan Skaglin posted a personal-best 9.525, helping push the team’s overall score and showcasing her continued improvement this season.
With the win, Huron Valley United keeps building momentum as the postseason approaches.
Next Up:
The team returns to action on Sunday for a tri-meet against Troy and Troy Athens. The meet will also serve as Senior Night, as Huron Valley United honors its graduating gymnasts.

Huron Valley United Shines at State’s Largest Gymnastics Invitational

Huron Valley United Gymnastics hosted the Jeanne Caruss Memorial Invitational—Michigan’s largest gymnastics invitational—on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Milford High School. Competing against some of the top programs in the state, the team delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 3rd overall with a team score of 139.2. Rockford claimed first place, followed by Farmington in second.
Milford senior Stella Musialowski had a record-breaking day in the Division 1 category, posting a 38.075 all-around score to earn 1st place overall. She led the meet on multiple events, placing: Vault: 9.3 (3rd), Bars: 9.4 (1st), Beam: 9.7 (1st), Floor: 9.675 (2nd).
Musialowski hit on all four events and powered Huron Valley United to its third-place finish.
Also in Division 1, Lakeland freshman Reagan Skaglin placed 8th on floor with a score of 9.025.
In Division 2, Lakeland sophomore Alayna Lince earned 8th place in the all-around with a 33.8, and added a 6th-place finish on floor with a 9.2. Lakeland senior Haylee Smith rounded out the podium placements with a 9th-place finish on beam (8.725).
It was a memorable day for Huron Valley United, highlighted by record-breaking performances and a strong showing on their home floor.
