The Milford Varsity Basketball team traveled to Holt on Tuesday night looking to build on their win over Fenton in the season opener. The boys did just that coming back to defeat Holt 54-47. Milford got down 22-8 in first half but closed the half on a 12-0 run to cut the deficit to 2. From then on it was a back and forth game in which the Mavs made enough plays down the stretch to grab the win. 

Gunnar Gustafson paved the way for Milford scoring 20 points and grabbing 17 rebounds. Nolan Rand chipped in 13 points. Ryan Cullen, Eric Elizondo, Jon Porter, and Ronnie Savage also sparked the Mavs making critical plays during their big run to reclaim the lead.

Milford returns home on Friday and will play Michigan Collegiate in a non-league match-up.
