Junior Austin Combs netted the hat trick, along with two assists, to lead the Mavs past an injury depleted Walled Lake Central/Waterford Unified Wednesday night at Lakeland.

Milford threw 67 shots at WLC/WU goalie Tyler Krasofsky and ended up scoring 10 to WLC/WU's 2.

In addition to Combs stellar scoring night, Senior Captain Ben Kozar had two goals and an assist, Freshmen Mack Musialowski scored one with two dishes, Sophomores Pierce Ashcroft and Brenden Maszatics and Senior Tyler Tori each had one and one, Sophomore Adam Moule and Junior Kazuma Bowring both had two assists, Freshmen Thomas Kennedy chipped in with one apple.

Junior Quentin Daniere scored his first goal as a Maverick much to the delight of his teammates in the second period.

Everybody's favorite teammate, Sophomore Tucker Combs, was stymied on a penalty shot attempt in the third period as he tried to go five hole on the busy WLC/WU tendy, while his Brothers were ready to erupt had he scored.

Sophomore Harris Partyka had 12 saves for Milford.

The Mavs travel to Flint's Icelander Arenas Tuesday to take on perennial state powerhouse Flint Powers Catholic at 6PM.
