Amelia Price Drives in Six to Seal Milford Mavericks Varsity's Victory Over Lakeland

Amelia Price drove in six on two hits to lead Milford Mavericks Varsity past Lakeland 12-9 on Thursday. Price drove in runs on a grand slam in the third and a double in the sixth.

Lakeland scored five runs in the fifth inning, but Milford Mavericks Varsity still managed to pull out the victory. Lakeland batters contributing to the big inning included Ally Carlson, Summer Ambler, and Payton Grange, all driving in runs in the inning.

Jenna Carlisle earned the win for Milford Mavericks Varsity. She lasted seven innings, allowing 13 hits and nine runs while striking out one and walking zero.

Ambler took the loss for Lakeland. She allowed 14 hits and 12 runs over seven innings, striking out five.
