Milford Mavericks Varsity Claims Blow Out Win Over Walled Lake Western Thanks to Seventh Inning Boost

Milford Mavericks Varsity defeated Walled Lake Western 15-4 on Thursday thanks to a timely eight runs in a big seventh inning. The offensive firepower by Milford Mavericks Varsity was led by Lauren Laughrey, Annabel Williamson, Jenna Carlisle, Taylor Mitchell, and Laughrey, all driving in runs in the inning.

Milford Mavericks Varsity got things started in the first inning. Amelia Price doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the third inning, Walled Lake Western tied things up at one when Ziga singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.

Milford Mavericks Varsity pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Mitchell singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Sammy Knapp singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
