MILFORD, MI — The Milford Boys Cross Country team turned in a dominant performance at the Lakes Valley Conference (LVC) Championships, capturing the conference title with an impressive 41 points, finishing 43 points ahead of runner-up Livonia Stevenson (84). White Lake Lakeland rounded out the top three with 87 points. Competing against 11 other conference schools, the Mavericks showcased their depth and consistency, placing five runners in the top 13 and six in the top 14 to secure the championship. Leading the charge for Milford was sophomore Aiden Doggett, who finished third overall with a personal-best time of 15:54.6. Junior Todd Tobin Jr. was right behind him, placing fourth with a season-best time of 15:57.6. Their back-to-back finishes gave the Mavericks two runners in the top four and helped establish an early advantage in the team standings. Senior Rowan DeHority continued Milford's impressive showing, finishing ninth overall with a season-best time of 16:30.9. Freshman Austin Zielinski followed with a strong 12th-place finish in 16:46.1, while senior Jacob Blakemore rounded out the Mavericks' scoring five, placing 13th in 16:53.6. Milford's depth was on full display as freshman Gabriel Kalinowski finished just behind Blakemore in 14th place with a personal-best time of 16:54.1. Senior Tanner Wertz completed the varsity lineup with a 22nd-place finish in 17:16.9.
