The Milford Varsity Volleyball team continued its strong play on Saturday, hosting West Bloomfield and Ida in a tri-meet and coming away with two convincing straight-set victories. The Mavericks opened the day with a dominant performance against West Bloomfield, winning 25-10, 25-12. Milford carried that momentum into its second match, defeating Ida 25-6, 25-10 to complete the sweep. Lexa Pierson led the Mavericks with an outstanding all-around performance, recording 17 kills, a .500 hitting percentage, 9 aces, and 11 digs. Ashlyn Charder was nearly unstoppable at the net, finishing with 10 kills, zero errors, and an impressive .625 hitting percentage. Ellaenna Michelin added 5 kills without an error, also hitting .625, while Olivia Burkert anchored the defense with 11 digs. Milford's efficient offensive attack and strong serving helped the Mavericks control both matches from start to finish, capping off a successful Saturday on their home court.
